Rainy Day

So I am now officially getting used to working the night shift....except for the whole being punch drunk thing for a few days afterwards till I get caught up on sleep....but it is amusing none the less. It's been hard for me to learn to balance work, church, school, family and friends. My son has been the most understanding of it all....he is the best! He likes that I only have to work 3 nights a week because we can spend more time together and I can help at his school more and so on. Some people are mad at me for not calling or writing or texting or whatever - but I don't have time. Not in a bad way that I don't have time....I'm just trying to learn to bablance this new way of life and some people feel burned or have had their feelings hurt....I'm sorry. I'm doing the best I can and learning along the way. You can either be as understanding as my 7 year old or you can sit and whine about it! :) I mean that in the nicest way possible! Other than that everything is going well....school is fun this semester - I'm actually enjoying Micro! Shocking! Layne is doing great in school and is enjoying soccer (which I help coach!) and we are just having fun and going with the flow. Enough of that. Hope everyone has a fantastic rainy Wednesday!
